There are many camps to choose from in Mentone, AL! Ponderosa Bible Camp is one-of-a-kind in this area! We are the only the only not-for-profit (non-profit) camp in the area! Our prices are 1/5 of those of the other camps in Mentone. Our prices reflect God's call on this ministry to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone, regardless of their income bracket! Ponderosa Bible Camp is a co-ed camp for boys and girls ages 7 through 18 (Grades 1-12). We offer weekly Summer Camp programs and Spring & Fall Weekend Retreats. (The camp is available for group rentals throughout the rest of the year.) We offer all the latest and traditional camping activities, as well as holding daily chapel services with entertaining Bible teachers and Missionaries from around the world! Ponderosa Bible Camp is located on 88 acres of beautiful mountaintop property in the far NE corner of Alabama in Mentone. Located atop beautiful Lookout Mountain and on the banks of DeKalb County's Little River. Ponderosa Bible Camp has been operating since 1976.
