Missionary Offering

Each week we have a guest missionary who shares with the campers about his/her adventures and God's work around the world.  These are active missionaries who may be home on furlough.  Each of our missionaries are in need of financial donations either towards their support or for a special project they may be working on for the area where they are serving.  A love offering is taken at the end of each week.  You may include your love offering with your registration, or campers may give from their unused spending money when it is returned on Friday morning.

Horseback Riding

Horseback Riding opportunities will be offered to every camper who wishes to ride at no extra cost!

What Not to bring

Purpose of our "No Cell Phone Policy": It is our desire that Ponderosa Bible Camp be a place where young men and young women can escape the distractions of their normal life during their stay at camp, a place where they can focus their minds & their hearts on their relationship with Jesus, and a place where they are not distracted by friends who are not in attendance.

Campers will NOT be allowed to have their cell phones during their stay at camp.  If there is an emergency we will contact you. Campers can leave their phone with our office staff during check-in time.  We will have a basket with zip lock bags and sharpie markers where your child can place their phones in the safety of our office.  If there is an emergency which requires you to come and take your child home early we will give the camper their phone at that time.  Otherwise, cell phones will be returned just before check-out time.

Do not bring these items to camp either:

Campers will be sent home if they bring any of the following:

Financial Aid

It is our desire to see every child experience a week of summer camp at Ponderosa at least once in their lifetime! Donations from individuals and churches make this fund available to those who qualify.  A limited amount of financial aid money is available for those who could not afford to come otherwise.  NOTE: If you have received Financial Aid from us in the past, you are required to enroll your child in our Mailbox Club lessons and have them complete 1 full course (8-10 Lessons) before you will qualify for Financial Aid again.  Mailbox Club rules and deadlines will apply.  The deadline for completion of MBC lessons is April 29th of each year.  Financial Aid amounts vary based on availability.  First time campers whose parents are in financial need will be given first priority.

Please print and complete this Financial Aid Application and mail or fax to our office with a letter from the camper sharing why they would like to attend Ponderosa.

You must create your online account so that we can apply any financial aid you may be awarded.

  • Financial Aid Applications - Must be faxed or mailed to our office after you have completed your online Camp Registration.

  • NOTE: If you have received Financial Aid from us in the past, we ask that you enroll your child in our Mailbox Club lessons and have them complete 1 full course (8-10 Lessons) before you request Financial Aid again.  Mailbox Club rules and deadlines will apply.  The deadline for completion of MBC lessons is April 29th of each year.  Parents who have received Financial Aid in the past to come to Ponderosa should expect the amount of financial assistance to drop each year.  The returning camper must complete a course of The Mailbox Club Lessons each year to maintain eligibility.

Please contact the office if you would like to make a donation to the Financial Aid Fund and help send a needy child to Summer Camp!
