Ponderosa Student Ministries Office/Ponderosa Bible Camp is located in the far NE corner of Alabama in Mentone. Located atop beautiful Lookout Mountain and on the banks of DeKalb County's Little River. Ponderosa is just an hour South of Chattanooga, two hours North of Birmingham, or 2 hours NW of Atlanta.

*Please note: DO NOT use SULPHER SPRINGS RD. EXIT #239, Sulpher Springs Road is a very steep, very narrow rocky dirt road that goes up the side of the mountain with no railing! Please use our instructions instead!... Click on your area above. If traveling North on I-59 (from Gadsden) get off at Exit #231 and turn right towards Valley Head and Mentone. If traveling South on I-59 (from Chattanooga) get off at Exit #231 and turn left towards Valley Head and Mentone. Follow Hwy 117 to Mentone. At the first stop sign you come to (in front of DeKalb Ambulance Service) turn right. All other turns are clearly marked with signs "to Mentone" or "Hwy 117".) Then, at the caution light at the 4-Way Intersection in Mentone turn North (away from Desoto State Park) on County Road 89. Go four miles, then turn right onto County Road 734, dead-end one mile ahead into camp.
