2009 Summer Missions Staff Positions:

•  Counselor/Cabin Leader - Positions available for 4 girls and 4 guys. 

•  Certified Lifeguard - 3 positions available (male or female)

  Requirements:       

• Must be a strong Christian, able to confidently share the gospel and your personal salvation experience, how your life has changed, what you are doing to grow as a Christian, and be able to led someone to Christ.

• Must currently be having daily quiet times, prayer and Bible study and able to share with the staff what God is currently teaching you.

• Must be a Single adult age 18 or older.

• Must have completed at least one year of college.

• Must work well with, and LOVE kids. (Have lots of patience with kids!)

• Fun, outgoing personality required

• Must enjoy the outdoors!

• Required Activities: swimming, canoeing, hiking, playing games, and having fun with your campers.

• Required Spiritual Input: counseling campers one-on-one (presenting the Gospel), leading devotions with your campers each night, praying with/and for your campers, loving your campers and pointing them to Christ though your word, actions, and attitude!

• Willing to spend 6 weeks of your summer serving the Lord (We guarantee it will be a summer you will never forget!)

• Dates: Summer 2008 (Mid June through late July) - dates TBA

• Must respectfully adhere to Camp Staff Dress Code

• Background check and References required

This is a paid position.  We will pay approximately 50% of your income and you will need to raise the rest.  You will need to ask your church, family, and friends to make tax-deductible donations to sponsor your summer missions work here at Ponderosa.

Horse/Barn Staff - Full-Time  or Part-Time Positions:

Requirements:

• Experience Required in caring for horses, cleaning stalls, grooming horses, and riding.

• Must currently be having daily quiet times, prayer and Bible study and able to share with our staff what God is currently teaching you.

• Must work well with, and LOVE kids. (Have lots of patience with kids!)

• Able to teach about safety and riding.

• Willing to clean stalls and scoop horse poop.

• Physically fit and able to walk along side riders for several hours per day.

• Able to share your personal salvation experience, how you are growing as a Christian, and be able to led someone to Christ.
