Welcome to Foster Kids Camp at Ponderosa!

We're here to provide you with all the information you need to make the best decision for your child's summer experience.

​

• Camp Details:

  • Foster Kids Camp is available free of charge for children ages 7-12 in foster care.

  • Held for one week each summer.

• Check-In and Closing Ceremony:

  • Check-in on Sunday from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

  • Camp ends on Friday morning.

  • Foster Parents' closing ceremony on Friday at 10:00 am. Gates open at 9:30 am.

  • Proper ID is required for entry. Campers dismissed by 11:00 am.

• Packing List and Registration:

  • Receive a packing list with your registration confirmation.

  • Bring twin bedding or sleeping bag, pillow, swimwear, towels, toiletries, clothes, and shoes.

  • Online registration is open. Have medical insurance, medication info, and emergency contacts ready.

• Limited Spaces:

  • Limited to 30 girls and 30 boys.

  • Filled in order of online registration completion.

• Eligibility:

  • Kids who have been adopted or are no longer in foster care are not eligible.

• Registration Requirements:

  • Foster Parents registering online need to bring DHR custody papers during check-in.
