Meet Jeff, our dedicated Executive Director, and Ann, our talented camp photographer and website/social media manager. Their journey with Ponderosa Bible Camp is a testament to a rich history and unwavering commitment to service.

Jeff and Ann's story unfolded in 1987 when they tied the knot, a few years after their initial meeting at Samford University in 1984. A decade into their marriage, with five children in tow, they felt a compelling call to full-time faith-supported ministry. While contemplating the possibility of serving in ministry in Kazakhstan, their path serendipitously led them back to a familiar calling. God unmistakably confirmed His directive for them to return to Ponderosa, where Jeff had previously served during his high school and college years.

Their decision to embrace this calling has shaped the Ponderosa experience for over two decades. Jeff's roots as one of our inaugural campers in 1976 have grown into a legacy of leadership, while Ann's multifaceted role captures the essence of our camp through her lens and online presence.

​

Beyond their roles at Ponderosa, Jeff and Ann are the proud parents of 11 children, six of whom have found their own paths in marriage. As grandparents to 11, family is at the heart of their story.

Jeff and Ann reside at camp year-round, embodying the spirit of Ponderosa. Their commitment to our community goes beyond a job; it's a way of life!
