Ponderosa is a non-profit Christian camp in northeast Alabama for boys and girls. Established in 1947, and operating from our current location since 1976, we offer one-week overnight summer camp sessions for ages 7-17. Our purpose is to help boys and girls grow and experience Christ through an unforgettable camp adventure. We believe the Bible is the true and accurate Word of God and the authority for faith and conduct. Through camp, we are able to openly and effectively teach the Bible to kids and teens while creating an unforgettable camping adventure!
