Cabinmate / Buddy Request – Summer Camp at Ponderosa Bible Camp

Cabinmate requests are part of the registration process. If you need to submit a request after completing your registration, please follow the instructions below.

Important Cabin Assignment Information:

✔ Assignment Deadline: Cabin assignments are finalized 10 days before the session begins. No changes can be made after this deadline.

✔Camper Roommate Requests: Each camper may request one friend, and the request must be mutual in order to be guaranteed. Our cabin assignment software automatically matches roommate requests based on the correct spelling of each camper's first and last name and matching mutual requests.

If you choose to list a second friend, we will do our best to accommodate the request; however, we cannot guarantee that your camper will be placed in the same cabin with the second friend.

When listing two friends, please enter their names in this format:

✔ First Last, First Last (separate the names with a comma and one space).

To help ensure accurate matching:

• Double-check the spelling of each camper's first and last name.

• Your first friend request must be mutual to be guaranteed.

• Second friend requests are considered when possible but are not guaranteed.

• For the safety and well-being of all campers, Ponderosa Bible Camp reserves the right to override roommate requests. If returning campers have experienced ongoing conflicts, disciplinary issues, or have not gotten along well in previous years, camp staff may determine that those campers will not be assigned to the same cabin, regardless of mutual requests.

✔ Sibling Placement: If no preference is specified during registration, sibling placement will be at the discretion of camp staff. Siblings may be placed together or in separate cabins based on overall cabin assignments and roommate requests.

⌛ Late Registrations (within 10 days of camp): We'll place your camper in a cabin with available space, but friend or sibling requests cannot be guaranteed.

Plan ahead and submit your requests early to ensure the best experience for your camper!
