Camp Sessions for Ages 7-12

At Ponderosa Bible Camp, kids discover more than just fun—they find a safe, welcoming space to explore, build friendships, and ask some of life’s biggest questions.
Our goal is to come alongside each camper as they grow—not just socially and emotionally, but spiritually. Through biblical teaching, worship, and meaningful conversations, we point kids to the hope of the gospel and encourage a deeper walk with Christ.

Campers also develop self-confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and foster an adventurous spirit rooted in resilience.

We want every child to experience the life-changing power of Christian camp—and grow in their faith while doing it.

Camp Age Groups & Session Guidelines: At Ponderosa Bible Camp, each week of camp is intentionally designed for a specific age group and stage of development. From chapel services and Bible teaching to games, activities, schedules, and cabin life, every part of the week is carefully planned to provide the best possible experience for that age group. For the safety of our campers and staff — as well as for liability, supervision, and age-appropriate programming — campers must attend the session designed for their age range. We are only able to allow a one-month grace period for campers who are slightly younger or older than the listed age range. Campers outside of that one-month grace period will need to register for the session designed for their age group. Our goal is to ensure that every camper enjoys a fun, safe, Christ-centered week surrounded by peers in a similar age and maturity level.

Evening Chapel Services

The biggest difference between our Elementary and Middle School summer camp sessions is the Chapel Service. Evening Chapel Service gives students a time to worship and hear age-appropriate Bible teaching relevant to today's life struggles. Students will be encouraged and challenged by the Word of God. We teach the Bible as the true and accurate Word of God and the authority for faith and conduct.
